Hutchinson Piranha Air Light Folding Tire is a new ultra lightweight tire ideal for rolling terrain. Central semi slick part with low knobs for low rolling resistance and performance. Lateral knobs to guarantee an excellent grip in cornering, 2.0 section for better connection between weight and performance, and 2.30 section to increase comfort. Longitudinal rubber reinforcement on 26 x 2.30 size to avoid snake bits. Synthetic rubber compound (SBR) increases mileage & performance.
The AIR LIGHT process is all about making HUTCHINSON tires as lightweight as we can by optimizing all the components of the tire. By maximizing the design and performance of the tread, casing and the profile AIR LIGHT increases the output (+20%) and acceleration while making handling far more secure by reducing the gyroscopic effect.
