Stradalli Cycle, the high performance carbon bicycle manufacturer, is pleased to announce that Grant Potter, the 2010 World Masters Stage Race Champion and 2009 National Masters U.S. champion will use the Stradalli Palermo for the 2011 international race season.

The Palermo is the new 2011 bicycle from Stradalli. Using the latest carbon molding technology, the new Stradalli Palermo off
ers unprecedented stiffness with its redesigned head tube, and BB30 bottom bracket area. By decreasing the lateral movement in these areas, the Palermo has great power transfer efficiency and responsiveness.

Grant, who lives in Parkland, Florida with his wife Christine and their three children, weighs in at 196 lbs and it can be difficult for him to find a carbon frame that can handle his torque output. However the Stradalli Palermo is perfect for someone of Grant's size and power.

"Its difficult to find a bike that can respond the way I need it to when it counts," Potter says. "A guy of my size and power, I can really notice how quick and responsive this bike is under the most extreme conditions."

Grant will continue to ride for the zMotion Pro team as he did in 2010 when he won his Gold medal.

About The Stradalli Cycle Company

With years of experience in both high tech manufacturing and design as well as a love for cycling, Stradalli brings passion and innovation to the road racing and mountain bike markets.

Epic Beartooth Pass, the newest in the epicRIDES virtual cycling video series has been released by epicPLANET.tv.

Epic Beartooth Pass takes you on a virtual training ride on the legendary Beartooth Highway and Pass out of Red Lodge, Montana with cyclists from Montana Cycling and Ski of Billings, Montana.

Known as one of the hardest bicycle hillclimbs in the world, Beartooth
Pass, Montana is a breathtaking stretch of US 212, which connects Red Lodge & Cooke City, MT. - the hard way, by scaling the BearTooth Range. 32 lakes can be seen from near the almost 11,000 foot West Summit, this is truly on "Top of the World".

This training ride includes over 4,000 feet of climbing with a constant grade of 6% and is one of our toughest, yet most beautifully immersive virtual cycling experiences!

The Beartooth Highway and Pass is an All-American Road that has been called "the most beautiful drive in America," by late CBS correspondent Charles Kuralt. This ride was also a segment on the noted Continental Tour held by Rapha sportswear.

This 60 minute DVD includes a new "Just the Ride" menu option which gives indoor trainers, coaches and instructors a choice of either 60 minute and 45 minute versions of the ride to fit their training or class requirements.

As with all our virtual cycling DVDs in the epicRIDES series, this DVD includes a free, downloadable Training Guide and matching PowerProfiles for programmable bicycle trainers such as the Computrainer and the CycleOps Power Beam Pro.

The UK’s Dirt Mountainbike Magazine has released the Dirt 100--their annual survey of the world’s best mountain bike products. A testament to category defining hardware, this year’s Dirt 100 includes both the Easton Haven wheelset and new Havoc Carbon handlebar. With sleek photography and detailed write-ups of the best one hundred mountain bikes, wheels, handlebars, and other accessories, the cof fee table-worthy tome is anticipated by subscribers and is a big seller on newsstands across the UK. Dirt doesn’t skimp on praise when describing the Haven wheelset, exclaiming that “We’ve known that they’re capable of producing some of the best wheels around, but with these new Haven ones [Easton] have taken things on to yet another level.” And when it comes to the category-defining Havoc carbon all-mountain handlebar, Dirt declares “If there’s one company that has managed to prove over the years that their carbon bars are as strong, if not stronger than anything else out there, it’s Easton.”

Haven Wheelset: The result of Easton’s passion for engineering perfect solutions for specific types of riding, the Haven will deliver in any performance Trail or All-Mountain situation. Featuring an internal rim width of 21-mm, the Haven wheel is wide and beefy enough for 2.5” tires but still exceptionally light at just 1650 grams. Built from the ground-up to perform in performance Trail and All-Mountain situations. UST compatible rim requires no rim strip, eliminating more weight. Optimized for 20/15-mm thru-axles, but is also compatible with standard 9-mm quick releases. New for 2011 is the dedicated 20mm front hub. Unique Threaded Eyelet system employs a nipple that’s threaded both internally and externally. The Haven employs conventional straight-pull spokes and can be trued like a standard wheel. Now available in black brushed/anodized finish.

Havoc Carbon Handlebar: At 750mm wide and just 235grams, we’re feeling pretty sure the Havoc Carbon bar will find its way into the test labs of competitors eager to figure out exactly how we pulled this one off. Truth is, we rely on the same, highly refined Taperwall technology to create our strongest and widest carbon bar ever that we’ve been using for years. The Havoc Carbon is lighter than most All Mountain bars currently on the market and, thanks to lab testing and ride testing on the bikes of top gravity riders, we know it’s even stronger and tougher than much heavier alloy bars.
