Through the years, cycling or biking has grown very popular as a sport. It gives you the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, boosts your cardiovascular condition and provides very minimal impact on your hips and joint areas. Before you decide to jump on your bicycle and ride off into the sun though, you must make sure that you have the appropriate riding gear on. Wearing a bulky or flimsy jacket is not only uncomfortable, but creates wind resistance while you ride. Wearing a thick or heavy shirt also creates the same effect. Moreover, these clothes cause you to retain sweat and moisture. Having the right pair of shoes on is critical in ensuring safety and comfort. Lastly, the worst mistake you can make is not wearing the proper type of shorts.
