Borneo has an abundance of wilderness and no part of Borneo is more rugged than the northern Malaysian state of Sabah: the towering granite spires of Mt. Kinabalu dominate the skyline; its foothills and the Crocker Range to the south lie blanketed in luscious rainforest…perfect mountain biking territory. Villages and farms are connected by dirt roads and jungle trails, mostly hilly, rarely sealed and perfect for mountain biking. Whether it’s a two day mud-fueled adrenaline hit, or riding by day and staying by night in jungle satellite camps whilst circumnavigating the stunning Mt. Kinabalu, Fieldskills Borneo has something for anyone who likes to single track their way through life.

Mountain bikers regularly find themselves storming up and down big jungle hills, crossing rivers, and when those rivers are just too deep, crossing them using hanging bridges. They also find themselves on untouched beaches, riding through tiny villages, markets, mangrove swamps, and of course some of the best jungle you can get.
