The Medscheme Walkerville Mountain Bike Classic is set and ready on July 13, with a challenging course that will test the skills of mountain bikers.
The race involves an intermediate 35km route and 60km route. Route director and passionate mountain biker Ken Davies led the preparations for the race. The more than 60-year old mountain biking veteran ensured difficult climbs, steep descents, tough terrains, and single track sections in the race to sustain the mountain bikers’ thirst for physically and mentally challenging trail. Davies and his crew have drafted and planned each section of the event and are very proud of what awaits mountain bikers of the Medscheme Walkerville Classic.
Organizers invite mountain bikers and their families to join and watch the race which will start at 9am at the Lapeng Hotel and Conference Center. Deadline for online entries is on July 8. Visit www.cyclingnews.co.za to register and to know more information about the race.
