Commissioners Support Greenway Trail Extension

The County Commissioners of Lisbon wrote a letter last March 26 to show their support to the County Parks District’s grant application to extend the Greenway Trail.
The County Parks District applied for the Clean Ohio Conservation Fund Grant in order to financially support the construction of the said mountain bike trail extension.
According to Parks District’s Dottie Betz, the group plans to use the $50, 000 grant to purchase two acres of land that is needed for the extension project.
The mountain bike trail extension is an effort to improve the local economy by promoting its recreational tourism and eco-tourism.
