Winter Park Resort to Add New MTB Trails
WEDNESDAY, 31 OCTOBER 2007
The Winter Park Resort in Colorado is gearing up for the summer season. The said resort recently reveals their plan to install new mountain bike trails by next summer.
The plan includes adding about 10 miles of trails, which will be mainly available for downhill and free riding. Resort Bike Park and Terrain Park Manager Bob Holme, emphasized that climbing will not be permitted on the said trails since they are designed for coasting and pedal-free only.
The resort’s initiative to expand their mountain biking facilities in order to attract more mountain biking enthusiasts over the summer season is part of the US Forest Service’s campaign to improve summer activities.
