NorCal HS Holds Mountain Bike Leader's Summit
SATURDAY, 29 SEPTEMBER 2007
The NorCal High School Mountain Bike League and USA Cycling will be hosting the first ever National Leader's Summit, a three day conference that merges on-the-bike clinics along with professional development seminars.
The event will be held this coming October 26 to 28 in Fairfax, California. Event participants include high school mountain bike coaches, assistant coaches, ride leaders, parent volunteers and anyone else interested in organizing youth cycling programs.
This year's summit is entitled, Integral Coaching for Positive Youth Development. The program aims to promote and encourage comprehensive coaching that will create an environment that will facilitate growth and development in young people.
