New England's very own Adam Craig and Mary McConneloug finished with flying colors at the USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships, which was held in Mount Snow, Vermont the previous week.
Both athletes bagged the title for the Cross Country event, the most coveted title in the said competition. Craig also took home other prizes including first-place honors at the Super Downhill race and second place in the Men's Short Track.
It had been a promising month for both Craig and McConneloug, prior to the USA Cycling Mountain Bike Nationals Championship the two won medals at the Pan American Games in Brazil which was held a week earlier. Craig took home a gold medal for the Cross Country race while McConneloug went home with silver. With their current standing these two are well on their way to making the Olympic team.
