5th Annual Galena Grinder Kicks Off on Saturday

The 5th Annual Galena Grinder Whit Henry Memorial mountain bike competition kicks off on July 28, Saturday. The much awaited event will be held at the Galena Lodge.
The mountain bikers will compete in three different courses. There's the course for beginners which is 10 miles, for sport class riders there's the 17.5 miles and for the professional riders there's the 22.5 miles course. The race winner will get $2,000 cash prize.
The race is held each year to honor the memory of Whit Henry, the 20 year old mountain biking and skiing aficionado who died in a vehicle accident in 2003.
