Friends Through Thick and Thin
  Friends Through Thick and Thin Today, the friends of Chris Oberle will hold a fundraiser for him to help in his medication and for his immediate recovery. Oberle was the Tahoe-resident cyclist who was paralyzed from the waist down in a recent mountain biking accident. He was mountain biking in Santa Barbara when he fell and disengaged his spinal cord. At present, Oberle is currently getting his strength back in Colorado.
