SMART Ride from Miami to Key West
WEDNESDAY, 28 MARCH 2007
The Southern Most AIDS/HIV Ride 4 or the SMART Ride, an annual two-day bike ride from Miami to Key West, is scheduled this coming March 30-31.
Riders have to register for $75 and must raise a minimum of $1200 in pledges. The proceeds of the event will go to six non-profit AIDS Service Organizations in Florida like the Broward House in Broward County.
Fifty percent of the funds raised by the SMART Ride Riders will be equally distributed to the agencies. The other half will be allocated according to what the individual riders have instructed.
