Police Shot While Biking Release from the Hospital

Tucson police Lt. Kelly Lane has been released from the hospital after spending more than a month in and out of intensive care. He is still recovering and requires a medical attention, according to Police Department spokeswoman Lt. Vicki Reza
Lane, who was off-duty at the time when the incident happened was shot at the back while mountain biking in Pinal County. Together with his friends they were in Spring Ranch area when they heard a gun shots and shortly thereafter, the vehicle was heading in their direction leaving Lane critical.
Robert Richard Basiliere, 25 of Tucson and Jeremy Thomas Dewitt, 31 from Marana were found and arrested.
