TRAVIS TO RACE IN ROTORUA MB WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
MONDAY, 28 AUGUST 2006
Eighteen-year-old Travis Duff Livermon will display his skill with the Junior Expert’s Men’s Cross Country World Team in the Mountain Bike World Championship race in Rotorua, New Zealand.
Travis, a Winterville native won the Sugar Mountain Cross Country event, Sugar Mountain Cross Track race in Banner Elk as well as the Quebec Cup race at Mount St. Anne in Beaupre, Quebec, Canada.
Travis lived with his brother Lucas who is also an accomplished mountain biker in the Pro category. The brothers’ cycling bloodlines comes from their father and grandfather who are both an active biker.
