La Ruta de Los Conquistadores, the biggest Latin American mountain bike event promises an exciting competition this year.
Thomas "Superman" Frischnecht, 2005 winner of La Ruta de los Conquistadores has announced that he will be defending his title next November. According to www.outdoornewswire.com, he has promised to win the title the second time around against any rival or weather conditions.
Colombian Leonardo Pajez who ranks number 1 in the UCI's Marathon Bike's World Cup will also be joining and hopes to defeat Frischnecht while American Jeremiah Biship would like to move up from his 5th place position last year.
Operations manager Luis Diego Vasquez has said that they are still waiting for one or two internation mountain bike riders to fill the Men Elites category event.
