TUESDAY, 27 JUNE 2006
Killington Ski Resort, along with the Vermont Department of Forest Parks and Recreation applied for an Act 250 permit to make a number of changes to its skiing and mountain bike trails.
The resort wants to close about seven-tenths of a mile of mountain biking trails and create a mile and a half of new trails for the safety of many cyclists.
The resort is also looking forward to make improvements to the Highline ski trail off Snowden Mountain which is being used by the Alpine Training Center and the Killington Mountain School and local races on some occasions.
