	Canton OKs a plan to preserve Rough Creek
	A trail system for Hiking and Mountain Biking in Rough Creek Wilderness Preserve was approved during a recent Canton alderman meeting. A professional trail designer will develop the new trails which are for hiking and mountain use only so that it will remain sustainable and maintainable. 	Killington Focuses on Safer MTB Trails
	Killington Ski Resort, along with the Vermont Department of Forest Parks and Recreation applied for an Act 250 permit to make a number of changes to its skiing and mountain bike trails. The resort wants to close about seven-tenths of a mile of mountain biking trails and create a mile and a half of new trails for the safety of many cyclists. 	Twenty-three men and women from the University of Texas-Austin are participating in the Rocky Mountain Sense Corp. Texas 4000 to bring about cancer awareness.
