British Columbia Studies MTB's Economic Impact

Canada’s Mountain Bike Tourism Association, in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism, Sports and Arts and community partners announced last week the launch of their study on mountain biking’s economic impact to Squamish in British Columbia, Canada, according to Squamish’s newspaper, The Chief.
The study which will be conducted between June and September, involves Squamish, Whistler and North Shore. According to The Chief, "the data will be used to generate an estimate of economic impact at the community level as well as for the corridor as a whole." It also added that the study focuses on the, "tourism impacts generated by mountain bikers."
