MONDAY, 10 APRIL 2006
If you are a mountain biking enthusiast, then the following would probably be the closest thing you can get to a dream job. The International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) is looking for people to serve on its Board of Directors. Their Nominating Committee is seeking those who are, “passionate about the activity of mountain biking.” Aside from that, they should also have, “the unique skills and insight,” that will help them guide the IMBA and, “grow mountain bike access worldwide.”
Those who will be able to become a member of the Board of Directors should be willing to serve at least in one committee and participate in the Board meetings and conference calls, among other tasks. Once elected, a Director will be serving a four-year term and the chance to serve for another two terms, if re-elected.
