5th Annual Winter Bomb Race to be Held Tomorrow
FRIDAY, 27 JANUARY 2006
Over a hundred bikers are expected to be at Shawnee Peak Ski Area in Bridgton, Maine for Sebago Outfitters’ 5th Annual Winter Bomb tomorrow. The race has become one of the most anticipated events in the winter season of the resort.
Participants compete in the Boardercross style race where they will race four at a time. The top two racers from each group will advance to the next round and so on. Moreover, there will be a BigAir Jump competition and a Slopestyle competition.
Registration will be on the day of the event itself and will cost $25. Junior riders will need to have their entry forms signed by their parents. If they won't be able to attend, email sebago@maine.rr.com to request release forms for them to sign in advance. However, the forms would also have to be notarized for insurance purposes. Moreover, a free lift ticket will be given to all the participants.
This year’s event is a joint project of Sebago Outfitters and Ernie’s Cycles. For more details, visit www.shawneepeak.com or www.sebagooutfitters.com.
