Mountain Biking Hydration Systems Hydration is very important to an aerobic sport such as Mountain Biking. It is very important to hydrate yourself every 15 minutes. Although water bottles work, it is quite hard to use when trying to maneuver over rocks and roots when you need both hands on the handlebars. Hydro packs are the solution for these type of activities.

These Hydration Systems are fitted into "backpacks" and a drinking tube is coursed to approximately near your mouth. This gives the rider a hands free drinking system so one can concentrate on going over obstacles. There are a variety of sizes for the hydration packs. Some packs are equipped with extra pockets and compartments that may be useful to put essential things that may not be placed in the pockets behind the jersey such as food, clothing, tools, money, etc.
