hiye guys... im new here and i just ordered my new mountain bike from one of the sportshops around my area... well... i was actually say encourage by my cuzn coz he bought a mountain bike for him and his gf... and i say why not buy one too anyways gas is getting expensive (although its going down - a lil bit)... also i can ride it to work since its only 10mins away... anyways... so i bought one... but i have a lil problem/question... can i ride the bike on public roads... i mean on streets not using the sidewalks (not the bike lane) ??? and if i can - how fast usually can i go (i kno i cant go faster than cars)... but the ideal speed... pls anyone with this experience lemme kno... i dont want black and white (cop) be pulling me over... thanks in advance... - ROBERT -

hi, i'm also new here..but anyways you have to check it with your place cos there are some areas in which they require you to secure a permit or something.

yeah, secure a permit, always take your license with you, and wear a helmet... you'll be safe and you'll be good...... drive with care, of course..
