The Trails of Natural Park of Arrábida Hills 35km (22mi)
We can admire the beautiful and exuberant Mediterranean landscapes in Natural Park of Arrabida Hills. The scenery is completed with the presence of the majestic Palmela castle acting as a permanent sentry. Climbing to Palmela castle on your bicycle through the luxuriant Mediterranean vegetation is one of the most exciting moments of this beautiful tour.
The Ancient Quarters of Lisbon and Monsanto Park 45km (28mi)
Lisbon is known as the City of Seven Hills because it was founded on seven hills. This means we can get wonderful views in the high places but we have to get there first! In the end we can have fan in single-tracks of the forest of Monsanto Park.
Sesimbra Castle 54km (34mi)
We will ride to Albufeira lagoon as far as Cape Espichel, where popular festivals used to take place and then we will climb to Sesimbra Castle.
Cape Espichel Tour 31km (19mi):
Cape Espichel – the Sanctuary of Our Lady of the Cape is formed by the Church (built in the late 17th century) and the buildings that were used as shelter for the pilgrims. Cape Espichel is included in Natural Park of Arrabida Hills.
The West Coast 49km (30mi)
This West Region of Portugal is also known as a “Land of Vineyards and Sea”. Another interesting point of this tour is the Medieval Village of Óbidos. Originally a Roman village, it was taken from the Moors in 1148. Its castle is classified as a national monument and it is a perfect example of a medieval fortress.
