We have recently returned from what we thought was going to be a run of the mill holiday in Sharm el Sheikh. Not in the slightest. Fortunately, I found Black Jack Bike - the desert specialist before we left England. With a prompt response to my email we had booked 2 days biking with no expectations.

We met Claus on arrival to our hotel who made us feel very at ease talking through exactly what we wanted from our trip. He was so kind and sympathetic to our personal desires making our holiday more unique. The first trip we did was into the Rhaz Mahammed National Park which he recommended. With a nice balance of biking and snorkelling in secluded bays we had a very diverse day. Claus is very interesting as he has not only lived out there for 10 years, he has very useful knowledge as he is a dive instructor. If you haven't already heard the sea life is AMAZING!

We finished our first day buzzing with excitement having seen more than just our hotel complex. Thouroughly exausted we couldn't wait for our next trip. Our next trip was into the desert, this was slightly more demanding as it was off road on sand. Again Claus was very understanding sticking to our biking pace stopping for refreshments as and when. Eventually arriving at our destination. A secluded Bedwin community welcoming us with tea and a camel. The camel was then tacked up unsurprisingly for us to ride in the daramatic scenery of the Sinai Mountains.

Having ticked all our boxes meeting Claus we could enjoy our well deserved rest for the end of our thoroughly enjoyable holiday, thanks to our great host Claus. I can't emphasise enough how he made a mass touristy destination unique and tailormade.
